Real Business Bloggers :: Welcome and Introductions

Time for a little Welcome and Introduction party.

Since our launch, the blog has truly grown quickly. Many thanks to all of our visitors and supporters. A special thanks to our new found contributors, too.

Our goal is to provide a blog which addresses small business blogging. We will provide real world examples of truly authentic business bloggers sharing their ideas and practices. Also, we offer you excellent coaches and practitioners that are bringing ‘conversations’ to business through blogs every day.

Allow me to introduce our blogging family.

On behalf of my students and all that will visit this blog, I offer my deepest thanks and appreciation to all of our contributors. You are making it all possible. We thank you.

Join with us and start your own conversations. We want to hear from you. Feedback, suggestions, ideas and critiques. They are all welcome. You are welcome.

Hey, and we even have a contest for anyone that is in business, but does not have a blog. We will get you started and you will become a contributor here. We’ll work with you and watch your blog grow. It will be fun.

  1. This is typical of Robert. He mentions every contributor, but fails to mention himself. So, I’ll do it. Robert currently lectures in PR and Communications at Auburn University in Alabama and has the least sense of ego I’ve come across in any blogger, nevermind blogger/PR type. Robert is infinitely more to BLOGthenticity than merely its keeper. He’s also the glue and the real checks and balances of this whole project - not to mention a damn fine blogger in his own right. It’s extremely easy to find out all the various projects Robert is involved in. All you have to do is take a look at all the wikis and Auburn Media related sites on the BLOGthenticity homepage. But for now, start with the man himself. Take a look at Robert French’s Bio and I hope you’ll be as impressed as I am - both as a person and an expert in his field.

  2. Thanks Paul. You are very kind.
Truth be told … I had made several updates to this, and other blogs, and actually I was just too darn tired and let it go.
I was also dealing with the upgrade/update of MarcomBlog - new skin/template and WordPress 1.5 upgrade. Now, I didn’t even do the hard part of that work, but it was already 3:00 AM … So, I just went to sleep. ;)
    Thanks.
